Not something said, but I had a warrior in a group with 0 domination points in Panic for Battle for Lion's Arch. He kept telling me to look at wiki. Nothing on the skill page and the BLA page only mentioned that the skill was good. Then he goes off in whisper after I leave about how I'm a kid and that wiki says so...

In the guide part of that wiki page it does say Panic along with other skills will greatly help in the mission to basically shut down entire groups but anyone will tell you, you have to basically max out domination magic along with using other skills to actually make it useful. Domination Magic set at 0 only makes the spell last 1 sec, again making it useless.

In DoA as an Imba doing everything right (Constant SY! ect.) At one point I minimized GW as we were running, and fell back to the monks. Some guy seeing this turned the rage on and told me I was supposed to be at the front. I told him I lagged behind and he called me a noob.
Anyways, at one point our party wipes but me and another guy. So I run back, incase I have any scrolls (to res the party) but I didn't have any. But oddly enough, the team blames me for the death. Why? Because at that very instant, I was in the back line.
tl;dr: I was blamed for the wipe of a party because after a near wipe, I ran instead of died despite continuing to spam until then. (I was the Imba)

Well duh, your the Imba, your like a monk but your not. It's your job to keep the team alive when they charge into battle without you.
By the way, you didn't have Flare on your bar so GG. And do go into this "I can't bring Flare without dropping Save Yourselves" lie because Save Yourselves is a paragon skill. The death of the team was totally your fault.
UBAD C? U R NAB!!!!!!!11!

So they can blame someone when the mobs run past the "tank" and slaughter everyone else.

Stupidest thing I heard now was someone crying in my PUG during the battle for Lion's Arch, about me stealing their Shining blade war horn. I'm in the middle of a mob fighting and picking anything up white in the area, she drops her horn. DUH!
So I use it at steps, and she crys foul again, tells me I'll never be in her group again and she does a lot of stuff in hard mode. My side hurt laughing at that point.

Aren't there, like, other ways of tanking than just Defy Pain + Endure Pain? If not, then wtf have I been doing with my warrior all these years? 0.0

I'm not really sure what's going on with people who think DP, EP, LC are all "noob" skills for warrior. My guess is either monks make them unnecessary or SY! > anything else.

Just happened today...I couldn't believe what I saw. The person who asked was not the same person dropping DwG, it was a different party member.

Generally, monks hate EP because it can't be maintained, so that means your health bar is going to drop by ~200 points at some point that they can't see or predict. Then we have to potentially catch a spike on you that hits just as you're losing all this health.

That's not it, it's wasting 2 skill slots on skills that suck. AI will ignore the tanks due to their higher health, more armor and less damage. Which defeats the purpose of tanking if your not taking damage and the rest of the team is. Secondly warriors can pump out damage, using an the elite Defy Pain over other good damaging dealing elites is like choosing Healing Burst over Healers Boon. Why take a skill that is out classed by others?

That's the problem with tanking in general. I was talking about why people hate EP in particular.

just now, went eternal grove NM for my new war. got a pug, full of quite good people and enough healers. my group refused to go and fight the first group of turtles, so the other group over aggroed on wars and hero monk got DP. then the other group left to go fight a random mob. then i told them to stay inside the grove so that the luxons could help. none of them moved behind the luxons or even near them. so yeah we died in the end after a player already left.

We Kurzicks refuse to work with Luxons, even if it kills us! Ironically, it will kill us. At least we have our dead prides!
Also, save the turtles man. Giant turtles are not machines to fire cannons to people man. Giant turtles were meant to stay in the wild and get eaten alive, not tools of war man.

Doing Frostmaws with heroes and henchies, one guy was bored and looking for a dungeon so I invited him along. We ping heroes, changed builds, changed to HM.
"Can one of the discord rits bring Earthbind for the knockdown bug? I got GDW to spam around."
"Cant, both of them are restoration."
/facepalm
"Can you switch them? Earthbind in this dungeon is a must against wurms."
"Sure."
We head off, didn't switch builds and we are running around with 3 healers, GG. He also wanted to switch to tank, fail.
I wanted to rage quit so badly, luckily I had a parental unit interruption so I pressed the X button fast.
